i spent my last week in Europe in and around Amsterdam. took a train from Hamburg and stayed with a very kind lady who lives outside of the city in a nice village. the weather was rainy for almost the entire time i was there but one day the sun came out and my host took me on a bicycle tour of the countryside. we had a great time riding on small roads and bike paths weaving into the Dutch landscape. i was to fly home on a Sunday morning and decided to stay up for the whole night on Saturday, went to a party and then made my way to the train station in the early morning.
